Grad Party

I just wanted to thank every single person that showed up at my house today to celebrate graduation with me. I couln't even count the number of hugs I gave and received and I loved each one. By showing up and eating and hugging and laughing, you showed me that even if we lose track of each other sometimes, I am still loved by sooo many. Also, thank you thank you thank you for all of those amazing gifts! Know that everything will be very wisely utilized on my adventures in Germany...

Whatever happen to my eating challenge?!

Ok. Here's the spiel. My true story of experiencing intense poverty. Sadly, as much as I would like to report that I have been given an entirely new world view and appreciation for other people and their troubles, I simply cannot. It pains me, truly. The thing is, I don't generally eat that much. As in, instead of actually decreasing my food intake, I think it went up. The only difference was that I could only eat specific rationed food.

If I were to ever do this again (which I am already considering, but for some time in the distant future), I would have to decrease the daily food value. Probably more along the lines of $1.25 or $1.50.

Sorry to be such a disappointment.
